Mission: The mission of The Life Purpose Institute is to create people of influence through life-transforming encounters.

Core Values:

Posture – Our ability to see and understand truth (Jesus Christ) is directly proportional to our willingness to humble ourselves at any given moment

Identity – The lens through which we see ourselves directly affects every transaction that we make in life

Relationship – The height and quality of our success are directly proportional our ability to build and nurture relationships

Vision – Our ability to break barriers and to reach goals is directly proportional to our ability to envision our desired outcome

Responsibility – Personal growth can only take place to the degree that we are willing to be responsible for our own lives

Faith – Abundant life requires living and active faith that continuously presses past what’s convenient and comfortable

Freedom – The purpose of life is to experience increasing depths of freedom and life through our relationship with Jesus Christ so we can share His freedom and life with others. Any path that consistently drains, depletes or discourages should be prayerfully evaluated

Transformational Beliefs:

1. The Bible outlines our general purpose to enter into a love relationship with God through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
2. God is active in our world and in the lives of every human being, especially those who open themselves to this love relationship with God.
3. God has a purpose for every individual.
4. Every individual is a person of worth to God.
5. God empowers each person to fulfill his/her purpose.
6. God holds us accountable for fulfilling our purpose.
7. Incredible satisfaction is experienced when we work in the realm of our God-given purpose
8. Deep discontent is the result of missing or forgetting our purpose. Living our purpose is worth everything.
9. Human beings are created with the potential for life-long learning and growth.
10. It is never too early or late to begin to live with God’s purpose.
11. People learn best when they can explore their purpose with others who are on a similar journey of faith. This is called peer support.
12. In addition to peer support, individual and small group coaching maximizes a person’s strengths and minimizes the weaknesses, which block progress in fulfilling your purpose.
13. God’s purpose is always greater than what we can do in our own strength and power. This necessitates relying on God and receiving spiritual power daily.
14. God’s purpose requires absolute reliance upon Christ and empowerment using the spiritual disciplines such as Bible study, prayer, sacrament, fasting, tithing, support of other Christians, and service.
15. Living on purpose results in transformation at many levels – personal, institutional, cultural, national, and global.
16. Those who live on purpose are influencers in their realms of relationship and work so that all of life is sacred and a calling.
17. God desires to empower our influence so that the major cornerstones of culture are transformed by kingdom principles.
18. God desires that the marketplace, media, arts, education, government and churches be transformed so they become powerful agents for the positive work of God’s kingdom both locally and globally.
19. There is no greater joy than being used by God and living the life God intends.
20. A life of purpose is a life with everlasting value for you and countless others you will influence.
