James D. Roberts
Rev. Jim Roberts has been a teacher, dean and academic adviser of a local college. He is a certified Christian marriage and family therapist, as well as a certified Christian life coach. He is the Minister of Discipleship for Grace United Methodist Church.
He has been in ministry for over 25 years. He brings with him a compassionate heart, while at the same time teaching God’s Biblical truth and helping people live out their faith. Jim is committed to helping people become healthy, mature disciples of Christ.
Jim is the Founder of the Soul Care Center, a counseling and coaching ministry that serves people on a donation basis. Jim and his team are life change experts who work alongside people to help them reach their highest potential and dreams. Their goal is to empower individuals to be as healthy as they choose to be in all areas of life i.e. emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually.
The Soul Care Center provides counseling, coaching, and support to hurting people transitioning them toward wholeness and health. They work to change lives, restore families and transform the community.
Jim is also the trainer, coach and counselor of One Family at a Time, a start-up comprehensive program to assist those in poverty and preventing families from moving into poverty in Stark County. His program responds to the needs of families with life skill education, coaching, employment counseling, health and wellness consulting with local community involvement and business partnerships.
The mission of One Family at a Time is to provide 18 months of support services and holistic life skill training to impoverished and working poor families in order to move them toward being productive, healthy, employed and self sufficient.
Jim is certified to use numerous assessment instruments including DISC, Myers- Briggs, Taylor Johnson, Strong Campbell Interest Inventory, Prepare and Enrich, and others
He holds BA degrees in psychology and sociology, a Master of Divinity and has done postgraduate work in leadership, and spiritual direction. He has studied under leaders like John Maxwell, Rick Warren and Myles Monroe.
Dr. David M. Oliver
Rev. Dr. David M. Oliver has been in full time ministry for nearly thirty years. He is a leader who loves Jesus Christ and is passionate about helping others become fully devoted Christian disciples. David is the founder of Living Water, LLC, providing Christian Leadership Coaching and Spiritual Direction to pastors and other leaders. He also is a mentor in Pastors of Excellence, Ashland Theological Seminary, an Adjunct Professor at Malone University and Ashland Seminary, and a Spiritual Director for various renewal events, including the Walk to Emmaus.
David is committed to using his spiritual gifts of teaching, pastoring, administration, leadership and apostleship for the building up of God’s kingdom.
He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Syracuse University in Family and Community Services, a Master’s of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School and his Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation from Asbury Theological Seminary.
His Doctoral Dissertation titled, “The Relationship Between the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Preferences For Prayer,” was nominated for the Asbury Distinguished Dissertation Award in 1995.
David is a Certified Christian Leadership Coach, through Valwood Christian Leadership Coaching in North Carolina.
He is a mentor for the Lilly Pastors of Excellence Program, Sandberg Leadership Center Ashland Theological Seminary, being selected as one of 20 pastors in North America to begin this mentoring program.
He has many advanced training experiences and is certified to administer and interpret various life assessments including Prepare/Enrich and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
David’s ministry, Living Water, LLC, assists pastors, churches and executives to be more effective in leadership and to experience personal and professional renewal. Using a strengths-based perspective, and drawing on the assets of Christian Leadership Coaching and Spiritual Direction, he helps leaders turn ideas into action, and dreams into realities. One of his greatest privileges is helping leaders experience an oasis of living water in the desert times of life.
David has been a local church pastor in greater Canton, Wooster and Cleveland areas.

Randall Paul Pipes
Randall Paul Pipes (Randy) has been in the people development business for over 25 years. He is a life development specialist, using his skills as a writer, teacher/trainer, coach, consultant and mentor to develop and transform the lives of people regionally, nationally and internationally.
